The Idea
We started in the city of Medellín, Colombia, in the year 1995 opening the first Specialty Coffee Shop. Since then, we have been in the collective construction of commercial urban fronts that represent the interests of farmers and indigenous communities of Colombia, while we explore new possibilities of marketing in other capital cities of the country and the bioregion.
Making part of the tourism industry in Colombia, obliges, before the little international demand and the shortly differentiated local demand, to realize activities with a higher degree of added value. That’s why, Expediciones Makondo Expeditions concentrates in attending the necessities of the students, international travel Business and Tourism, that seeks opportunities of learning with fun, security, complementary content and social responsibility.
